Extending trust

Ken Blanchard and Renee Broadwell collaborated in a book entitled “Servant Leadership in Action: How you can achieve great relationships and results?  I recall reading a chapter contributed by Stephen Covey, where he discussed the speed of trust regarding trust building as a leader. He made the connection between servant leadership and trust. He asked some questions that sparked a discussion amongst my staff, “Which comes first, servant leadership or trust? Or, is one driven by the other?” He went on to offer the question “for the leader, who seeks to lead their organization into the stratosphere of success, how should these two disciplines be balanced?”
